Prior to forming Maconachy Investigative Group (“MIG”), Drew, a founding partner, managed the West Coast operations of a nationally recognized leader in private investigative and risk mitigation services, with offices in California and the greater Washington D.C. area.

With thirty years in law enforcement and the private investigative field, Drew has extensive experience investigating major frauds, intellectual property rights, trademarks and trade secrets, real estate/mortgage fraud investigations, forensic accounting, fidelity/employee dishonesty matters, complex financial frauds, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering compliance, insurance claims services and corporate investigations.

From 1976-1984, Drew served as a Special Agent with the FBI in the Los Angeles Field Division. He was actively involved in investigations concerning bank fraud and embezzlement, political corruption, mail and wire fraud, organized crime, racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations (RICO) and copyright infringement.

Between 1981 and 1984, Drew served as the White Collar Crime Criminal Coordinator for the Santa Ana Resident Agency of the FBI. On numerous occasions he has qualified as an expert witness for the FBI.

Since 1985, Drew has worked closely with corporate leaders and outside counsel in resolving complex matters in a discreet, timely and cost effective manner.  He was directly responsible for the development of the firm’s intellectual property, trademark enforcement and trade secrets investigative programs, toxic tort/environmental insurance claims practice and its fidelity/employee dishonesty program.

In 2006, Drew founded Maconachy Investigative Group to provide a broad range of investigative, risk mitigation and litigation advisory services designed to gather and analyze critical information that assists MIG clients address and resolve sensitive issues, make informed decisions and protect its assets.

Drew graduated from Akron University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (emphasis in Finance) in 1972.  He continued post graduate studies at Akron University with an emphasis in accounting, auditing, finance, taxation real estate and business law.


MEGHAN RODRIGUEZ, Marketing Representative

Prior to joining Maconachy Investigative Group (“MIG”), Meghan, worked for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals and Xerox Corporation as a sales representative in the Orange County area.

Meghan graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2005.
